EcoIntense is maintaining a comfortable growth trajectory. The software specialist for health and safety, environmental management and sustainability more than doubled its order intake for its Software as a Service (SaaS) product. This translates into a significant increase in turnover for the company and its foreign branches compared to the same period in the previous year.

Over 60 companies from a wide variety of sectors have started using EcoIntense’s online software EcoWebDesk in 2018. The new customers include, for example, the oil and additive specialist LIQUI Moly GmbH and the independent Deutsche Bahn energy manager DB Energie GmbH.

“The need for mobile HSE and CSR software with flexibility to be used anywhere in the world is continuing to see a marked increase. More and more clients start with EcoWebDesk in one region and tackle the global rollout subsequently”, says Markus Becker, CEO of EcoIntense. The software specialist acquired NordSafety in November 2017. Therefore, it expanded its product portfolio with a user-friendly app solution and strengthened its market position in the Nordics.

Internationalization continuing apace

In the first half of 2018, demand in Austria and Switzerland has also increased along with EcoIntense’s core market in Germany. The software specialist announced in June that it was opening new offices in Denmark and The Netherlands, and so the company is now operating in three German cities and a further five countries. “Our strong growth trajectory is set to continue through the second half of the year”, says Markus Becker. EcoIntense now employs more than 140 people. Over the coming months, the software specialist will be appointing further HSE, CSR and IT experts so as to set a course toward market leadership in Europe.

Since it was founded in 2007, EcoIntense has managed to establish itself successfully on the market in just a few years with its EcoWebDesk software. With eight modules, the online solution comprises Health and Safety, Audit Management, Hazardous Materials, Legal Compliance, Online Instructions, Process Management, as well as Eco-Controlling and Sustainability. The software enables these business processes to be managed cost-effectively and in line with legal requirements and legislation on an ongoing basis.

EcoIntense has changed its name to Quentic in October 2018. As part of this change, the software EcoWebDesk has also been renamed Quentic.
