In the course of the continued development of the Internet services and the implementation of new technologies, and in order to improve the service for you, it may become necessary to make changes to these data protection regulations. Therefore, we expressly reserve the right to make changes and in light of this we recommend you read these data protection regulations regularly and in detail.

1. Objective of these data protection regulations

These data protection regulations apply to all services and offers that are made available and offered under “www.ecointense.de“, “www.hs2e.de“ and “www.ecointense.com“. Unless stated otherwise, these data protection regulations exclusively determine how EcoIntense handles your personal data.

2. Data collection

Generally you can use our Internet services and the websites without disclosing your personal data to us. You are free to decide at any time whether you want to pass your personal information on to us.

Exempt from this principle is the automatic storage of certain data. Every time you access the Internet services, the IP address, the type of browser, the access time, the name of the Internet Service Provider, the website from which you arrived at our website as well as the websites which you visited within the Internet services, are automatically transferred, to the extent permitted by law, via the computer used to the EcoIntense server where they are saved. However, this automatically transferred data is exclusively used for the purpose of preventing and tracing unauthorized access to the Internet services of EcoIntense. EcoIntense only evaluates, on a strictly anonymous basis, which sites among the EcoIntense Internet services are favored by visitors and how many times they are accessed daily.

3. General use of the data

3.1 The personal data, which is collected through the Internet services, is processed and used by EcoIntense for a specific purpose and in accordance with legal regulations, in particular the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG). You can adjust your browser so that cookies are generally refused. However, in this case it cannot be guaranteed that you will benefit from the full functionality of the website. To provide you with the best service, we use both "permanent cookies" and "session cookies". 3.3 We use the services of other companies to optimize our website and our services. The following is an overview of the services used.

Google Analytics and Remarketing

This website uses Google Analytics and Remarketing. These are services provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google used “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and which make it possible to analyze your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The IP address is then shortened by Google to the last three digits, so a clear assignment of the IP address is no longer possible. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for the website operator, and to provide other services related to web usage and Internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties, provided this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Third party advertisers, including Google, display ads on websites on the Internet. Third parties, including Google, use stored cookies to turn ads on the basis of a previous visit by a user on this website. Google will in no case associate your IP address with other Google data.

In addition, this website uses Google AdWords Conversion Tracking. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad served by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, the website operator and Google can recognize that the user has clicked on the ad and has been forwarded to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and have been redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that allows users to be personally identified. Data collection and storage by Google services may be objected to and revoked at any time with future effect. You may disable the use of cookies by Google by clicking on the Deactivate Google advertising page. Alternatively, uses can deactivate the use of cookies by third party providers by clicking on the Deactivation page of the network advertising initiative. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to fully utilize all the functions of this website. In addition, you may prevent Google from processing the data (including your IP address) related to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as the processing of such data by Google, by downloading and installing a browser plugin provided by Google. By using this website, you agree to the processing of the data about you by Google in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose. For more information about Google's terms, click here.

Facebook visitor action pixels

Within our Internet presence, we use the "visitor action pixel" of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") with your consent. This is how users' behavior can be tracked after they are redirected to the vendor's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows us to track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous for us; i.e., we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data will be stored and processed by Facebook, which will be communicated to you according to our best available knowledge. Facebook can connect this data to your Facebook account and also use it for its own advertising, according to Facebook's data usage policy https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You can enable Facebook and its partners to place advertising on and outside of Facebook. A cookie can also be stored on your computer for these purposes. Only users older than 13 years of age may declare consent. If you are younger, please ask your parents for advice. Please click here if you wish to revoke your consent: https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/.

Lead Inspector tool

For the statistical analysis of visitors' access, data on marketing purposes, and the recognition of web visitors is collected, processed and stored using technologies from Lead Inspector GmbH. On the basis of these data, the Lead Inspector GmbH technology performs an address determination, but only in cases where it can ensure that this concerns a company and not an individual as a visitor. Cookies are used for this purpose. Lead Inspector GmbH may use information provided by visits to the websites to create anonymous usage profiles. As far as IP addresses are collected, they are anonymized immediately after collection by deleting the last number block. Data collection and storage by Lead Inspector GmbH may be objected to and revoked at any time with future effect at http://www.leadinspector.de/widerspruch/.
